We have an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse, Pre-Assessment and Day Services Unit  based at The Horder Centre, Crowborough. This role is offered as a bank / zero hours contract.  

About the role:

  • To deliver high quality clinical care in line with national and corporate standards
  • To carry out pre-admission screening in line with The Horder Centre policies and protocols
  • To maintain sound lines of communication to all staff, patients and visitors
  • To work co-operatively with medical staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team in order to provide a positive experience to our patients
  • Participate fully as a team member, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, including support staff to promote a cohesive Day Services Unit team and the achievement of team objectives

About you:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Nursing degree – fully completed
  • Eager to develop and learn
  • Previous experience in orthopaedics or a pre-assessment unit is desirable, but not essential 
  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer facing role
  • Good IT skills
  • Adaptable and efficient

Location: The Horder Centre, Crowborough

Working Hours: Bank - flexibility required

Salary: £19.39 per hour
