We're on the look-out for an experienced Medical Secretary, to join our Secretarial team at The Horder Centre on a bank contract. This is a great opportunity if you would prefer a flexible working arrangement on a zero hour bank
contract, where you can pick and choose when you'd like to work
. What you'll do
- Provide secretarial support to accredited Specialists practising at The Horder Centre
- Type clinic letters and operation reports within the in-house computer (PIMS) programme via audio dictation from designated Specialists.
- Liaise with the Customer Services and Clinical Teams to effect the smooth running of clinics, ensuring that Consultant specific requirements are relayed and in place prior to consultations
- Deal with telephone callers in an efficient and helpful manner, following The Horder Centre guidelines.

What you need to have
- Audio/typing to a minimum of RSA II
- Medical Secretarial experience
- Experience in a role dealing with patients and consultants
