Vacancy – Healthcare Assistant - Theatre
(Full Time) – 37.5 hours per week
We are on the look-out for a Health Care Assistant with bags of energy, to deliver exceptional patient care in our Theatre based at our McIndoe Hospital.
You will play a vital role in delivering the highest standard of care and service for patients, visitors and colleagues.

Must Haves
- Experience in patient care within the acute hospital setting – operating theatres
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be able to cover out of hours
Nice to Haves
- Previous experience of cosmetic, reconstructive, ophthalmic, orthopaedic or maxillofacial surgery nursing
- Previous experience in the use of electronic patient management systems
- NVQ 2/3 in care related subject or willingness to train and work towards City & Guilds/NVQ
- Orthopaedic/Clinic experience will set you apart from the rest
