Private Patient Advisor 

Horder Healthcare is on the look-out for someone to act as a specialist to knowledgably answer patient queries and engage with prospective new patients through the promotion of Horder Healthcare at our sites in Crowborough and East Grinstead. 

 

What you'll do 

  • Ensure all self-pay and PI patients enquiries from emails and phone calls are answered.  
  • Supply information, advice, help and support when required.  
  • Process bookings in accordance with Horder Healthcare’s Access Policy and associated Standard Operating Procedures. 
  • Update the Patient Administration System and create supporting documentation to include admission/appointment letters and discharge letters.  
  • Work closely with clinical staff to ensure suitable allocation of patients to appropriate clinics and theatre lists. 
  • Receive and action telephone enquiries from patients regarding appointment and admission bookings. 

 

Who we’re looking for 

  • Experience working in a telephone-based sales/customer service role. 
  • Previous healthcare experience would be an advantage. 
  • Ability to prioritise workload and pay close attention to detail.  
  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management system. 
  • Strong IT skills. 
  • Excellent telephone skills.
