Practice Development Nurse – Cross Site in East & West Sussex

We're on the look-out for a Practice Development Nurse to join our Clinical team at Horder Healthcare on a full time basis.

What you'll do 

  • Positively promote and develop the quality of the learning environment providing supervision, support and clinical education, facilitation and professional development to support all learners in developing clinical competencies, skills and knowledge.
  • Act as a resource for advise and clinical support to nursing students, practice assessors and educators to facilitate practice development
  • Provide clinical and professional advice ensuring optimal use of skills off all staff working within areas and supporting students and mentors
  • Support and facilitate students, practice assessors and existing healthcare staff in expanding their skills and competencies within the clinical environment in line with professional, departmental and service requirements in order to maximise the learning experience

What you need to have 

  • Registered Nurse with a current registration
  • Mentorship Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience working in a clinical environment, with excellent teaching and assessing skills
  • Ability to initiate, evaluate and sustain change
