Vacancy – Duty Chef – Full Time – East Grinstead
37.5 hours per week
Working with the Catering Manager, you will be required to produce fresh, healthy food for our patients, visitors and colleagues, some of which are on restrictive diets. You will ensure that meals are produced to a high standard and take joint responsibility for stock control, promoting health and safety and hygiene.
You will have a passion and flair for food. You will be flexible and be able to use your own initiative. You must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.

Must Haves
- City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or equivalent experience
- Basic food hygiene or higher
- The post holder must have the ability to work as part of a team and must be a good communicator.
- The post holder must have the ability to work on their own initiative and be able to make decisions in the absence of the HCS.
Nice to Haves
- Recent enhanced DBS check under a year old
- Experience training colleagues of less experience
