Vacancy – Assistant to the Executive Team

Full time - Crowborough

We’re on the look-out for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to deliver first-class, ‘right first time’ professional administrative support to our Operations Director and other members of the Executive Team. You’ll be working in our Corporate Office which is based at our Crowborough Hospital, The Horder Centre.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs and working alongside the Assistant to the CEO and Board, your duties will include: diary management; coordinating meetings/events including the preparation of papers and minute taking; drafting and formatting correspondence; creating and maintaining databases; monitoring action plans; liaising with managers across the business; and general administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the Executive offices.

 

Must Haves

  • Educated to AS/A Level, or with an administrative qualification, together with six years’ experience as a PA/providing administrative support, including minute taking.
  • A grasp of the basics – particularly grammar, punctuation, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Be unflappable, with an ability to remain calm and unperturbed in a demanding office environment
  • An IT Whiz – comfortable with all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook for multiple diary management, and confident to try others
  • A ‘can do’ attitude, willing to turn your hand to anything

Nice to Haves

  • BTEC in Business Administration or similar
  • Experience of working in a healthcare environment
  • Experience of taking verbatim minutes/notes
