Patient Services Advisor – SMSKPE

Full and Part time hours available

Salary: £19,056 - £19,332 per annum (FTE)

Sussex MSK Partnership East (SMSKPE), a Horder Healthcare Partnership organisation, manages the care and treatment of patients with bone, joint and muscle conditions (musculoskeletal or MSK for short), across part of East Sussex. The service also provides care and support for Rheumatology patients and those with chronic pain.

As a growing and innovative service, we are always on the lookout for eager and competent new colleagues to join this successful team, and always open to meeting people with new ideas and skills that may like to join us at our head office in Eastbourne.

Contributing to the successful delivery of services, your main responsibilities will be administering all aspects of a first-class patient care journey. This includes booking of patients, coordination of diagnostics results, liaising with clinicians and ensuring an exceptional level of patient satisfaction is maintained throughout the patient experience via telephone and email.

Patient Care Advisors will work as part of the wider Clinical Referral & Assessment Service, ensuring seamless delivery of services. They will work with GP practices, hospital and community staff and clinicians, to navigate patients to the most appropriate services for their needs in an accurate and timely manner. They will support the delivery of efficient clinical services by ensuring that patients are proactively managed at all stages of their care. A large part of your day will involve phoning patients and dealing with patients queries so an excellent telephone manner is essential.

If you’re well organised and efficient in the completion of administrative tasks, with proven experience of working to agreed deadlines we would love to hear from you. Excellent communication and initiative are essential, along with good judgement, sensitivity and discretion due to the confidential nature of the role.

If this sounds like you, and you’ve a genuine passion for delivering an outstanding patient experience, get in touch with the Talent Team at recruitment@horder.co.uk
