Vacancy – Physiotherapist – Eastbourne & Seaford

Band 5 £24,698.28 – 30,714.24  - Full Time

Beside orthopaedics, we have grown into a multi-service healthcare provider with a large musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy service providing to GP referrals, privately insured and self-paying patients as well as post-operative patients. We also deliver care for plastic and maxillofacial surgery and ophthalmology at our hospital at The McIndoe Centre in East Grinstead. At The Horder Centre in Crowborough, as well as at the Outreach sites in Seaford and Eastbourne, we provide a large volume of Outpatient appointments for Orthopaedic Consultants and over half of the provision for MSK Advanced Practitioners and Physiotherapy for our two local CCGs.

We are on the look-out for an Outpatient Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our well-established team to work on the south coast of East Sussex. The successful applicant will join a large and well supported team of Physiotherapists, managing MSK patients referred by local GPs, Advanced Practitioners and consultants as well as post-operative patients and also private patients. You will provide a patient centred collaborative approach to assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning utilising shared decision-making principles to provide a range of evidence-based treatment options. You will also contribute to the development of the clinical pathways by participating in clinical audit within the service to maintain and improve all aspects of clinical governance, evidence-based practice and quality assurance in the service. Must Haves

  • Registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist - we welcome applications from new Graduates
  • Member of CSP (or willing to become one)
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
  • An ability to work independently
  • Knowledge and experience of musculoskeletal physiotherapy with assessment and treatment skills
  • Knowledge of clinical reasoning models
