Kitchen Porter

The Horder Centre Crowborough

£17,340 (FTE) 21 hours

We are on the look-out for a Kitchen Porter, with meticulous standards, to support the Catering team and provide an effective and efficient food service to patients, colleagues and visitors. You’ll make sure that pristine cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained though-out our catering facilities at our Crowborough hospital, The Horder Centre.

Main duties will include

  • To support the Catering Manager / Chefs in providing an effective and efficient service to patients, staff and visitors.

 

  • To ensure a clean working environment
  • To carry out your duties including cleaning tasks necessary to maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic environment in keeping with all legislative and hospital requirements.
  • Complete records for work completed.
  • Duties include but are not limited to: servicing the beverage points, preparing sandwiches, selling sandwiches, assisting other members of the Catering Team as required.
  • To ensure that waste sacks are replaced when half full and that the bins are cleaned daily.

 

Must Haves

  • The ability to work as part of a team or as an individual

 

Nice to Haves

  • Level 1 food safety or higher.
