This is a full time role based at both of our main sites in East Grinstead and Crowborough with occasional remote working.
Must Haves
- In depth knowledge of relevant legislation e.g Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR
- An understanding of Subject Access Requests
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of information security principles and practices such as ISO 27001
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Very IT literate particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- A thorough understanding of, and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to interact confidently with staff at all levels
- Ability to build rapport, trust and confidence with colleagues
- A willingness and commitment to maintain CPD
- High level of attention to detail
- At least 3 years’ experience in an office environment and experience in dealing with people of all levels within an organisation
Nice to Haves
Knowledge of data protection and information governance in a Healthcare environment, for example working on and submitting NHS Data Security & Protection Toolkit (NHS DSPT)
- Experience in delivering training
- Experience in conducting audits
- Experience in writing policies and guidance
