Purchase Ledger Assistant, Crowborough

We're on the look-out for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team, supporting the Finance Manager in managing the purchase ledger. 22.5 hours per week Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

What you'll do

  • Processing purchase invoices, credit notes and payment of suppliers.
  • Maintain and regularly review Direct Debits
  • Reconcile supplier statements as required.
  • Reconcile and post cash receipts/payments.
  • Ensure that the software packages are used and updated efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure that all paperwork is accurately filed, including all documentation required by internal and external auditors.

Who you'll be 

  • Someone who is has good communication skills.
  • Someone who has an understanding of accounting systems
  • Someone who has a flexible approach and is adaptable to change.

What you need to have 

  •  Excellent computing skills including good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good organisational skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Previous experience of accounting software
