The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a highly efficient and effective support service to The McIndoe Centre’s patients, consultants and wider departments.  

About the role:

  • Receive patient booking forms from consultants, medical secretaries and process the booking onto the hospital patient computer system, in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitor theatre activity and scheduling
  • Manage all forms of booking communication, from emails, letters and telephone queries
  • Monitor outpatient activity, ensuring notes and relevant information is available for the consultant and updated as necessary
  • Monitor the ERS system daily and process any enquiries, notes, patient and consultant communication
  • To develop good communication skills with consultants, medical secretaries, and all internal departments.

About you:

  • Strong administrative experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, with healthcare software experience desirable
  • Previous experience in a medical / healthcare background is desirable, but not essential

Location: The McIndoe Centre, East Grinstead

Working Hours: Permanent, Full-Time
