Working within a key team here at Horder Healthcare, we have an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate Chef de Partie to join our experienced catering team.

Supporting the Corporate Catering Manager and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring that the food is prepared and served to a high-quality and standard, assist with the menu planning and preparation, plus much more, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to grow with their career within a professional and rewarding environment.

Based from The Horder Centre, Crowborough, this is a full-time, permanent role, working on a Monday to Sunday shift basis. Shift times are: 6:30am to 2:30pm, 7:00am to 3pm and 10:30am to 6:30pm. Weekend availability is required and shifts are paid at an enhanced rate.

About you:

  • City & Guilds 706 Level 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent C.I.E.H. Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
  • Prior experience within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, to help build those all-important and respected relationships with our patients and your colleagues.
  • Exposure to menu planning, with a keen interest in current food and dietary trends.
  • Proactive and forward thinking, with a passion for continued learning.
  • A working ethic aligned to our core values as a group: Caring, Friendly, Quality, Integrity and Pride.
