Joining one of key teams within The Horder Centre, we are on the lookout for a motivated and team-orientated Kitchen Porter. Playing an integral role within the catering team, you will be on hand to ensure that the catering area remains clean and hygienic for the wider team, as well assisting with the delivery of staff meals throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities will include washing pots and pans, keeping floors clean, sanitizing food preparation areas and occasionally helping with food prep work. Ultimately, you’ll be invaluable in making sure our catering areas are always sanitised and tidy.

This is a permanent, part-time position (30 hours per week) based on a rota pattern, which will include weekend work (paid at an enhanced rate).

About you:

  • Fantastic attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is desirable, but not essential
  • Prior experience within a kitchen / catering environment
  • A team player, with enthusiasm to support in other areas of the catering department as and when required.

Salary: up to £17,940.00 per annum
