We are East Sussex MSK Community Partnership (ESMSK).

Are you passionate about making a difference in patients’ lives through excellent administrative support? We’re looking for a proactive and compassionate Patient Administrator to join our dedicated team in Eastbourne and help deliver a seamless healthcare journey for our patients.

As a Patient Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our clinical pathways and helping patients access the care they need—from physiotherapy and orthopaedics to pain management and rheumatology.

The Office opening hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with the office closed on weekends and bank/public holidays.

About the Role:

  • Communicating with patients via phone, email, and Accurx messaging throughout their journey from referral to discharge.
  • Coordinating appointments, diagnostics, and referrals to external providers.
  • Supporting clinicians with accurate and timely access to patient notes and results.
  • Resolving queries and contributing to a smooth-running, patient-focused service.
  • Participating in team training and development sessions.

We’ll provide full training to help you thrive in the role and grow your skills in our systems and processes.

About you:

  • Experienced in administration, ideally in a healthcare setting.
  • Confident with phone and written communication.
  • Adaptable and team-oriented, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and support colleagues as needed.
  • Organised and Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
  • Familiar with ERS and System One (desirable but not essential).
  • Positive, proactive, and ready to make a real impact.

Location: ESMSKPE Office at Ivy House, Eastbourne
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 37.5 hours
Shift Pattern: Shifts range from 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm(Mon-Thurs) with at least one Early and Late shift a week and the rest can be flexible for fairness.
Salary: £23,868.00 per annum with increases after successful probation completion
