This is an 18-month fixed-term contract.
About the role
Working within a multi-skilled People function, you’ll support the full employee lifecycle and act as a first point of contact for People related enquiries. You’ll deliver high quality HR administration and coordination support, ensuring our processes are efficient and compliant.
You’ll work closely with the wider People team and external partners, helping to maintain accurate records, support recruitment and onboarding, and contribute to continuous improvement across HR systems and processes.
Key responsibilities
HR Administration
- Act as a first point of contact for People queries, providing timely, accurate and confidential advice.
- Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems, ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Prepare HR documentation covering starters, leavers, contractual changes, absence, maternity and performance processes.
- Produce HR reports to support KPIs, workforce planning and the People Plan.
- Support employee relations processes, including case administration and minute-taking.
- Manage the People inbox, ensuring queries are handled effectively.
Onboarding
- Support recruitment and onboarding activity, including system administration, offer documentation and pre‑employment checks.
- Liaise with hiring managers and external providers to ensure a smooth candidate and starter journey.
Systems, Compliance & Collaboration
- Act as a super-user for the HR system (SDWorx), maintaining data quality and escalating issues where required.
- Coordinate third-party providers such as Occupational Health and DBS services.
- Ensure HR processes align with employment legislation and internal policy.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR administration processes.
- Work collaboratively across the People team to support organisational priorities.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in HR administration or People coordination.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A confident, professional communicator able to build relationships at all levels.
- Comfortable working with HR systems, reporting and data.
- IT‑literate, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Discreet, trustworthy and confident handling sensitive information.
- Proactive, collaborative and committed to continuous learning.
Location: Multi-site - including travel between The Horder Centre, Crowborough, The McIndoe Centre, East Grinstead, and occasional travel to our Coastal clinics in Seaford and Eastbourne
Contract type: 18-month fixed-term contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £27,495.00 - £32,500.00 per annum, depending on experience
