Vacancy – Health Care Assistant – OPD Crowborough
Bank (zero hours contract)
We’re on the look-out for a bank Health Care Assistant with bags of energy, to deliver exceptional patient care in our Outpatients Department based at our Crowborough Hospital – a centre of excellence in orthopaedics. Recently awarded OUTSTANDING by the CQC, we’re a hospital with a difference. Not your typical working environment, we sit within the beautiful Ashdown Forest, a place where you’ll have the quality time to spend with patients.
You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and the highest standard of service for patients, visitors and colleagues.
Must Haves
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Willing to learn
- Experience in customer care
- Previous experience in a hospital setting
- Able to prioritise and multi take
- Able to undertake basic nursing duties including baselines
- Must be willing to train and achieve in-house advanced competencies
Nice to Haves
- NCQ Level 1 or 2
- Care Certificate
- Orthopaedic/Clinic experience
- Phlebotomy experience
- To be aware of the key issues in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
